RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

I say if your happy with it and temps are acceptable, go nuts. I'd still monitor temps closely.

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

I have the old MX-3 Airtonics and it is great. From what I can gather the new one is an update in FHSS rather than extra functionality so faster response increased range etc. The one and only...

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

Sounds like a fun setup... it would be great to see some vids of it running if you can.

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

Look at Kershaw Designs single 700HO kit. Better than stock for when the stock titans fry.

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

+1 xxSLiMxx. I know I'm definitely going the single BL road when I do, I figure two will just be messy (with two esc’ and all).

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

Sorry off-road jato - No idea... I thinking about going with the MMM when I save up but I've also heard some good thing about dual velineon’s too. I assume you’ve been checking out the forums on...

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

off-road jato - From what I hear Dual970 has great torque but it kills the run times. Dual 700HO's will basically give you more torque but sacrifice some runtime (although not as much as the 970's)....

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

I would get the 700 HO even if the stock Titans don't die. Don't' worry about all the questions. I figure that's what these forums are for. You ask questions now, I ask questions some time in the...

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

If you get the Kit from Dan (Kershaw Designs) you don't need anything to make it work... for looks you could get the single motor mount and cover but I've seen plenty of setups without any sort of...

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

I was running in thickish grass (probably could have done with a good mow) on 7 cells with stock pinion/spur and they just died... i wasn't impressed... Traxxas were willing to replace them but I...

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

When my Titans died (3rd or 4th run) I found this option and it is the perfect option for your situation (saving for brushless) and I can empathise as it is exactly what I am currently doing.

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

Yep, one to replace two... as an added bonus it also lowers CG slightly.

Not too sure, never done comparison on run time, but way more torque and a little extra speed. Search RCUniverse or...

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

Sorry yes... It's a motor, go here. If you go this direction definitely get the ‘motor prep’ (Dan the owner operator solders the capacitors etc for you).

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

Off-Road Jato - Stock Esc definitely won't handle any brushless... it's strictly a brushed esc, as for one that will do two I have never heard of any. Any dual brushless setups I've ever read about...

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

xxSLiMxx and dougman51. Can you turn the pinion around? I had a motor (brushed admittedly) that came stock in the car with the pinion on the other way. I may be missing something that makes this a...
