RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

To use up the tire that's all on one side, where down the other side has traction. Is what he's saying, what it means I believe is using the tire tread that hasn't worn down depending on how the toe...

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

Mainly for asphalt only as I want a stiff suspension. I replaced the HPI hinge pins with Associated RC 10 pins which are shorter and drilled out the A arms & C hubs as the diameter was just a tick...

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

If you run on a regular basis it's prolly not vital but if you plan on shelving your car for wks at at a time it would help.

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

I'm with ya on this as I'm just a casual RC'r and really don't bash or beat the hell out off my truck, GPM or Alloy is fine for me especially on the wallet. Billet is great... if you decide to jump...

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

That "C" hub setup makes me wanna go to my LHS right now for bearings. Yup your right SIM2U that is 1 cost effective and simple mod anyone can make. GPM should include bearings in their products...

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

I beg to differ 46U unless I misunderstood you, the bushings that came with GPM's "C" hubs are white nylon plastic. At least the ones I recieved, in any case yes I'm sure they won't hold up as well...

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

These are the brass bushings ( don't think this will solve your prob). I would not try altering the "C" hub as any type of bend will effect the integrity of the part and will most likely result in...
