RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

My guess is that cut 50% with thinner and going on too wet caused it. Try to apply it drier.

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

I'm a little out of touch on this thread and may have missed something, but, wouldn't you be better off getting rid of the vibration instead of just covering it up?

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

I bought the Dynam 30A and HobbyWing Pentium 30A with the programming card. Both brands work, but the Hobby Wing has a nicer soft start so I use that one.

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

We're always learning more about how to get longer lifespans in LiPo cells. When you read something about them, it's helpful if the article is dated.
The real (absolute) danger values where damage...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

It's neg. shift. If you can't change the shift on your JR it probably won't work.

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

I don't understand what's happening with the fore/aft balance issue. Mine balanced perfectly right out of the box. In fact, most helis are tail heavy but my Belt CP is one of the few I have that...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

See the picture below. It's snowing here now, again. Our 20th storm of the season. 10th in Feb. Basically, snowing every day for the last month with just a few hours of sunshine between the storms....

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

I hadn't thought about what BreakBlades said, but he's right. If one side had let loose first, the least that would have happened is, well...break blades. I guess I'm lucky I wasn't trying to fly the...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

A few days ago, I took one of my little FPs outside for a quick flight. I set it down, but had to go back in to answer a phone call. No problem, good to let the 4in1's gyro get used to the cold...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

Well, some of us won't have to worry about that for a while.

This is my side yard. Today was our 18th snow storm of the season. #19 is coming Friday.

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

Dan, I've got a Dynam 25 and a Dynam 30 amp ESC. The 30 is compatible with more motors than the 25. I also have a HobbyWing Pentium 30 with programming card that I like even better. It has a real...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

I should have asked if you were using the Esky 25A ESC, but since you only asked about the brakes, I'll assume you are.

The Esky ESC needs absolute 0% and 100% throttle settings in order to...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

Dan, do you have the stock Tx, or just the Futaba?

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

Completely draining a LiPo kills it. What's happening now, basically, is that the battery can no longer deliver power fast enough. Think of it as killing the "C" rating of the pack, or running on a...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

I always go for the obvious places first. Check to see if your pinion is loose.

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

Since nobody else has answered yet, I'll give it a try. I probably shouldn't because I don't have this gyro.

What you're describing is typical of a gyro that's operating backward. I don't think...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

How about that. I learned something new today.
Since I have a Hitec Eclipse7 and it uses the same assignments as Futaba, can I assume that Airtronics is done the same way as JR? Just a guess as...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

Is that a stock Rx? I don't have a Spektrum radio, but the channel assignments I usually see are
CH1 AIL
CH2 ELE
CH3 ESC
CH4 RUD
CH6 CCPM

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

You could try spooling it up without the blades and see if you still get the vibration. It might give you an idea of where to look. Also, check to see if you have a bent tail shaft. Maybe the...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

As far as I know, it doesn't. The one I tried was for the Align (but not an Align part), and it didn't work.

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

I hope you'll put some pictures up as you go along. I've been wanting to try the airwolfe myself. I'd like to get one of Darth's bodies, but I don't have time to break out the air brushe(s) to do it...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

Thanks. My son said a green one and a red one. Nose and tail. I've also considered a wide orange or yellow stripe on the bottom. I'm certainly not going to fly too high with this canopy on it. I...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

My new canopy is basically done. In a week or so, when I'm sure the paint is good and dry, I'll buff and polish it.
The first picture is processed with saturation turned down. This is a better...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

Actually, it's the motor that beeps. The ESC sends a signal to the motor. I believe it puts a small vibration to the motor which causes it to make the beep sound. If your motor isn't working, whether...
