The 'legal' size for a Springer prop is 1.5", three blade.. thats if you intend to play Springer football with others..

If its just for running around with, then any size is ok...

You need to strip it back to bare wood and glass it inside and out... that way you wont be having to do remedial work at a later stage..

It depends on what you are trying to glass...

For a flat easy one piece deck (CC type) then a one piece light mat is preferable...

If its a complicated mold, then crumpled pieces of mat...

I wouldn't go with an AM radio for something quick that can travel distance in a short space of time. Range might be a problem with AM as well as interference.. Look at going FM, you will be better...
