RE: New drifter- car pics.........

The Lotus body has a lot of down force. I was a little surprised. Once you get it going pretty fast with drift tires (abs pipe) it sticks to the street very well. I can make small steering...

RE: New drifter- car pics.........

Well, I thought I would update my progress with my drifter. It is now working great. I can run a whole battery through it in the middle of the day when it's about 100' outside and the motor heats up...

RE: New drifter- car pics.........

Sorry,

The tire in Italics isn't the abs pipe. It's a rubber slick tire, I just gave you the info on it in case you wanted a good street tire.

RE: New drifter- car pics.........

Here is my Integy heatsink and Novak fan.

I also put new abs pipe on my rims last night. The ca glue actually worked very well. I just cut it in half and with a screwdriver I popped the rest of...

RE: New drifter- car pics.........

What kind of tape would be good? I tried some gray electrical tape and it worked nicely for about 20 seconds, very grippy, and then it looked like I had a bunch of flats. Tape flew everywhere.

RE: New drifter- car pics.........

Well, I got the Integy heatsink and two novak fans on Friday and hooked them up this weekend. They seem to work fine plugged into the reciever (they didn't come with any directions).

I would...

RE: New drifter- car pics.........

Hmmm,
I'll see how the fan and heat sink work out.

Also how do you mount your drift tires? I used ac glue. It probably wasn't the best idea since I will have to change the tires every once in...

RE: New drifter- car pics.........

My owner's manual says it has 41t and 42t diff. pulleys. I'm not sure but I think the 42t goes in the rear.

The motor is a Trinity 19 turn.

RE: New drifter- car pics.........

I was going to get the car no matter what, but one thing I thought would be cool is that it wouldn't get dirty like my others. WRONG, I was surprised by how dirty it got. I'm guessing because it's...

RE: New drifter- car pics.........

How exactly do you gear a drifter? It has the stock gears, 22 pinion and I'm not sure on the spur gear.

I ran it last night, it was a little cooler outside. It barely broke 155. The problem is...

New drifter- car pics.........

This is my first on-road 4WD car and I got it specifically for drifting. It's the xxx-s rtr2. I just thought I'd post my car, and let you know there is one more drifter out there.:D

When I first...
