The K4.6 pullstart WILL work, I just checked it out...The K5.9 and K4.6 use the same starting shaft (#15234) as well as the same rotostart backplate (#87127).

I know a few folks with XLs and they're digging them big-time. If it was out last year I would have bought one in a heartbeat...it's a relative bargain considering all the upgrades it comes with.
