RE: Best Truggy engine around $150

I bought a GO .28 with in-line exhaust on the big auction site for only about 100$ shipping included. It runs great in my Hyper truggy, pulling easy wheelies (300.000 wt in centerdiff) and all the...

RE: Breakin procedure for my new ASP 61

There`s really no need for mumble-jumble and black magic:) Just run it, a little rich and it will be good[8D]

RE: why is nitro hated by some???

Nitro takes some knowledge and skill to operate, I think that`s why lesser "equipped" induviduals hate them:D

RE: Dynamite Mach .26 BB engines

The original Mach .26 with blue cooling head was definately a 6 port engine, I still have the sleeve from it;)
And it was a very very fast and reliable engine, revving sky high.

RE: OS 81FS-a

If I needed an .80 ish sized fourstroke I`d just get the proven Saito .82 and be done with it, lighter too:) Actually I`m looking for one in the auctions[8D]

Edit due to bad spelling:)

RE: bad engines

YS engines if you are a beginner. They are not bad engines, but rather a little exotic and complex to begin with. other than that most engines out there work by the same principles. I have lots of...

RE: Ringed 2 Stroke Break In

I used to believe in a fairly long running-in on the ground when I was less experienced. Over the years I do as the above, adjust the carb a little rich on the low end so it throttles ok, then good...

RE: Why not higher % nitro?

The YS engines still produce more than "normal" power on just 15% too, which is what I usually feed them. But for the extra WOW factor 60% is nice:)

RE: Nitro vs Electric

I want to sum it up very short: Electric=boring, Nitro=exciting
Yes I have had both, but now only nitro and 1/5 gas for me thanks. A car without real sound and exhaust is no real car. Electics...

RE: Why not higher % nitro?

RE: help with an accessory

Glow plugs are expendables and I have a bag full of them in every different heat range. I second what the above wrote, but I always run 30% or more in my cars and therefore use medium to cold plugs...

RE: help with an accessory

Any brand medium to cold plug will do just fine[8D] I normally just slap in the whatever plug I have at hand, tune the carb, bash and have fun.

RE:

My guess is that if the carb and muffler are smaller and more restrictive it will hurt performance. I can`t see why someone would want the .46 carb and muffler on the .55 anyway, as the .55 is a very...
