RE: 18th & 36th SCALE RACING-TOLEDO,OH AREA

I do have an opinion of the crossover, it was a little destructive and violent, but I will not be there this week, so have fun with it!

THE BALLAD OF RICKY BOBBY's baja

Me and Stew stopped at the HSW tonight, and there was Ricky's Baja, still broken. So, we decided to do some work on it, since it's already broke and we couldn't...

Final race, you going to retire that thing? It probably deserves it.

Here's what you need....it's the Coffee Grinder parts kit. It has every part you may (did) break......

RE: 18th & 36th SCALE RACING-TOLEDO,OH AREA

I hope that 8HP electric conversion comes with a wheelie bar! I've seen the 27 and 30 conversions do wheelies, and that electric motor has to have way more torque than those.

Ricky, get it on...

RE: 18th & 36th SCALE RACING-TOLEDO,OH AREA

Do they make a plow or blower for that thing? Looks like you need some way to clean the lot!

When that snow melts and eveything turns to mud, give me a call, I'll be right there.

You gotta watch that Tim. He's sneaky. If you are thinking of a similar mark-down on the Baja, let me know.

RE: 18th & 36th SCALE RACING-TOLEDO,OH AREA

How could it not clear a single? :D:D
And for the double, it depends on how far apart they are, and the shape of the approach ramp.

So, Sander got "sanded" by the log-in process. That's impressive.....:D

RE: 18th & 36th SCALE RACING-TOLEDO,OH AREA

Don't worry, that thing will get broke if it stays there too long. We should have a ramp big enough to get that thing on the roof of the store.

Check this...

RE: 18th & 36th SCALE RACING-TOLEDO,OH AREA

I had one electrical "glitch" with the 18T at the beginning of the night, but that was it. Put a brushed motor and ESC in the M18Pro. Much better. I am probably going to sell my brushless stuff as...

It's only a matter of time. Anyone interested in a carbon fiber Gorilla Maxx electric Revo? Ricky?

RE: 18th & 36th SCALE RACING-TOLEDO,OH AREA

Hasn't the "Sander" made an appearance on here yet? I figured after his big night he would be on here to talk smack.

I thought that trck layout was pretty fun last night, but not as fun as...

RE: 18th & 36th SCALE RACING-TOLEDO,OH AREA

There was one race at White Park at the end of the season last year, with promises of a whole season of races this year. As for Monroe, we'll have to wait and see.

RE: 18th & 36th SCALE RACING-TOLEDO,OH AREA

You could always go to Brett's track, but it sucks! Just kidding. At least it's outside, so you're not always waiting on him to run outside and have a smoke.

RE: 18th & 36th SCALE RACING-TOLEDO,OH AREA

Well, I wouldn't necesarily call a Jato off-road, but OK. Monroe or White Park. I don't see why either one won't have racing (yes I do, but I am being nice). Plus the "new" track. What is up with...

1/10th on road, or off road? That is a good question TIM. What is the story on this "new" track, and what is the story with off-road?

RE: 18th & 36th SCALE RACING-TOLEDO,OH AREA

I think the only off-road track big enough to run 1/5 is Monroe.....definately not Douglas Road (White Park), which I think is the one you are talking about. Monroe would be plenty big, it just...

RE: 18th & 36th SCALE RACING-TOLEDO,OH AREA

To answer my own question (I love it when people do that), yes 1/5 on road is a ROAR class, and the track requirements appear to be the same as for 1/8 on road, except for the following:
"On...

RE: 18th & 36th SCALE RACING-TOLEDO,OH AREA

I don't think that 1/8 on road will be any more expensive than 1/5, and I don't know how willing they will be to let you run those things at that track. That is a ROAR track, is 1/5 a ROAR...
