And the P-40 has 30% more wing area.

Please be good enough to tell us how it lands, how slow it will fly and how it handles on one engine as soon as you get yours in the air.

How do you know what his skill level is? And since you haven't flown it, you don't even know what skill level it takes to fly it. What makes you think it isn't beyond your skill level?

I'd...

Which means lower prices for the glow engines as well.

To each his own of course, but you still have the weight problem.

A couple of "smart" remarks involving first flights came...

RE: Top Flite Cessna 310 posted

Checking Horizon's website I see that the Power 60 motor with the recommended ESC and batteries (it takes two for each motor) costs $576. But with only one set of batteries, you can only fly once...

RE: Top Flite Cessna 310 posted

The definition of "flying well" depends on the individual and the type of model involved. Many of the posters in this thread have said that there are some extremely heavy scale warbirds that fly...

RE: Top Flite Cessna 310 posted

Gentlemen:

Let me remind you that what you see in a promotional video is not nearly as important as what you don't see. In this case you don't see a take-off, slow flight (accept one slow...

RE: Top Flite Cessna 310 posted

Most of the Seawinds flown from water did not have the retracts installed and the wing loading was closer to 37. And we all know what kind of reputation that airplane has!

The Seawind does...

RE: Top Flite Cessna 310 posted

I guess we can't all fly as well as you can, but maybe we can learn.

I've been trying to find a twin that I can use to learn to fly the Top Flight 310. It seems like the closest thing, size...

RE: Top Flite Cessna 310 posted

Wing span has nothing to do with it. Wing area is the important factor. As wing area goes up, the airplane can support a higher wing loading. The 310 supposedly has a wing area of 948 sq. in....

RE: Top Flite Cessna 310 posted

Great Planes seems to be moving toward great looking, unusual scale planes that are a real treat to look at, but "difficult" to fly. Personally, I wouldn't walk from the pits to the flight line for...
