Is that the 97" GBY? I was thinking in terms of the 82" version. I'll have to revise my numbers. 12" cowl and 24" prop, means the "rules of thumb" would have the top of the floats about 10" below...

It looks great. Interesting project as well.

May I ask why you put it so high off the floats? The normal "rule of thumb" is that the top of the floats should be 2 or 3 inches below the bottom...
