Regenerative braking is possible but he said "you would pretty much have to charge the battery once." I assume he is talking about perpetual motion.

I see smaller electronics, brushless coming stock, and batteries being replaced by capacitors (in the next 15 years).

Capacitor technology has developed tremendously due to nano technology...
