RE: motor Numbers: I know I know

Yes I know how the Kv works. But I would have thought that amperage was pretty basic oiece of info and it's not there. And the weight of the truck would be nice, so you can compare with other...

RE: motor Numbers: I know I know

Thanks for all the input guys. The 3660 being a sort-of 550 makes sense.

I think the problem is not with the actual motor specs, but the way the vendors describe them, just throwing numbers around...

RE: motor Numbers: I know I know

I am sorry, but your reply goes against all my feelings about "specs'. This is NOT to say you are wrong in your statements. It's just that it makes me feel that there is a whole set of numbers out...

Every time I think I have a handle on this there is some other factor that usually seems to mean nothing. ATM I am looking at the specs for a truck that has a 3000Kv motor (3000RPM/Volt, got that)...

RE: Floater Jet

Thanks for that. I have to say that most reviews I am reading support what you say, in that the beasty seems to be a powered glider almost, but can move if you push it hard. It still seems to be the...

RE: Lowpricerc.com?????????

OK. In the (important) interest of fairness and also because speedy said they were NOT asked for any further ID and did have successful transactions, here is the explain from the store. They...

RE: Lowpricerc.com?????????

Sure I can understand why PP may need to re-verify you if you move although I can see why it would be a nuisance. But _because_ PP do that, no vendor should be asking IMO.

RE: Lowpricerc.com?????????

Ah. OK. Ignore my PM question then! http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/teeth_smile.gif It's been answered.

They did not actually ask me, as I have made no...

RE: Lowpricerc.com?????????

Yep. Well I have emailed them and told them I am unhappy, and asked PP about it. PP say suss. I am going to wait two more days for a reply then take it up with PP again. There is such a thing as...

RE: Lowpricerc.com?????????

Thanks for the info. What is unconfirmed? Un verified? Because these guys insist that you are verified and still say they want all my details. If they wanted to know ebay history etc as you suggest I...

RE: Lowpricerc.com?????????

Normally I would agree, but there is a post here that said that when there were problems the shop was very responsive. Just reckon they need to sort themselves, but that extra info requirement counts...

RE: digital vs. analog servos??

A helpful reply indeed.

You can't argue with Cliffmandude. From what they gathered means that their statement is irrefutable.

Anyhoo....I was reading the thread and until Barracudahockey posted...

RE: Floater Jet

hmmm...found one for US$40, no battery, no ESC, no servos. I hear that the 1300mAH battery is a tad small to give proper CG anyway....

So the question still remains," is this a good beginner craft...

RC 540 vs 3300V motors?

I am just wondering what the difference is, if any. I have seen sites saying that the same RTR car model has one, or another, and in one site, both! (must be fast :D!)

Thanks for any advice on...

RE: Motors: Turns, KV Poles

RE: Motors: Turns, KV Poles

Wow! I am glad I asked. This is a long way from fifty cycle scientist stuff!

I got the turns bit. Less turn, higher current..more power...less battery life.

The sensored vs sensorless...

I actually want to change my ESC. The one I have is non-programmable and not...
