I agree with most of the original post, but I should say that I've often flown electrics from the main runway and nobody's ever given me a hard time about it. But maybe it's just that I'm less...

Hey, is the Electric fly-in on for this weekend? I haven't been up to the Basin in ages, and it's been a while since the newsletter or schedule were updated at the Valley Flyers site.

sheesh! I know that I've occasionally grumbled about planes passing a few feet in front of the main runway, but this puts that in perspective!

Had my own midair on Sunday, although I wasn't at the Basin. I was flying at a local field, with an electric old timer (a Commando). There was one other plane in the air (a Sparky), both planes...
