os surpass fs 120

My engine chewed through the rear bearings. Replaced both the front and rear beariings. Reset the valves, and timing, however the engine does not fire or draw fuel from the tank. The carb is clean...

Always had issues with it cutting off after 2-3 mins of flying. It was run in as per instructions, fuel composition : 20 % Klotz, 10 % nitro, 70 % methyl...

It was powered by a MVVS 40. The tank was mounted in the nose and held by rubber-bands.

Flew the tribute with an old OS 40 SF with stock set up. Had no issues with "foaming". Fuel used is a home blend 20% castor rest methyl alcohol.

Had several dead sticks with the MOJO profile ...

os 55 ax carburetor

Had a mid air a couple of weeks ago, and realized that the carburetor neck was cracked and the retaining screws had fallen off. A small crack is also seen in the crank, where the carb is attached.

Could try mounting the tank on the wing, away from the fuse, isolating the tank from the fuselage vibrations.

Mine flew well with an OS 46 ax, standard muffler, till it disintegrated in a mid air collision.

Had some dead stick issues due to vibration causing air bubbles in the tank, which were sorted...

A great cheap option is to use a plastic coke bottle. Chose bottle size and trim to your liking !

Tried the OS 'F' plug and richened the high speed and low speed needle valves . Managed a 5 minute flight which was cut short by a misbehaving aileron servo. Landed in one piece , thankfully....

Fuel lines are free and run over the top of the fuse. Similar to the pictures of other fliers profile airplanes.

Mounted an os 55 ax on a mojo 40 . The engine was run in for a couple of tanks and seems to have good transition.
On the ground the engine runs well , however in the air , when flying at 1/2, 1/3...

Tried everything that you mentioned with no good result. Lost the katana in a mid air. Completed a Mojo 40 and flew it last weekend. No foaming issues !!

Try TMPRO they sell the Katana profile both 40 and 70 size.

Heard good things about the mojo 60 made by Swany's house but it is not an ARF.

I did fly the Katana 70. Engine vibration caused...

Flew one for a while till I had a dead stick which snapped the fuse.

The fuselage is weak and tends to break behind the wing saddle. If I had to buy another one I would remove the fuselage...
