Well, considerign how the battery got over charged and melted through the bottom of the nose, it structuraly weakened the plane and the nose busted off when it crashed after a 12 foot flight.

UPDATE on the Spitfire project "meltdown repair":

I accidently over charged the battery pack, and it melted down through the nose underbelly :(

soooooo, I still have yet to fly this...

two assembled Cox Micro Warbirds. They only need frequency crystals for their GWS Futaba receivers. Both are accessible from the bottom of the fuselage. That allows you to fly these with whatever...

Well, I picked up 2 planes off E-BAY that are built and only need crystals to fly for about 100.00. ( Spitfire and Corsair).

I have a parkflier radio and crystals, so I'm not worried about it....

I plan on getting a Me-109 or a Spitfire.

I have a spektrum DX6 radio and the reciever aswell as servos.

RX weight 7 grams (.27 oz)
S75 servos 7.5 grams Each .28 oz (.56 oz total for 2)
