RE: RC18T Steering Servo

BTW, I checked the AE website, they suggest #21041 to fit futaba. I think this is the same as the stock AE servo saver, but if it is, I can definately verify it won't fit. Does anyone know if this...

RC18T Steering Servo

I wanted to replace the stock steering servo with a new one and bought a Futaba S3114 servo. I realize this is NOT the worlds best servo, but it was an upgrade for the stock and was pretty...

RE: Anyone own a Warhead

My parts came in today, so I took the trans apart for the first time. Whoever said the trans one-way bearing was causing the problem was right - big difference. I opend it up, replaced the one-way,...

RE: Anyone own a Warhead

Keeplerelf,

The bad news is you have to replace it, the good news is you're not the first. Although you'd have to go back pretty far in this thread before you see another incident on here. For...

RE: Anyone own a Warhead

86atrack4,

Thanks. I think I understand. I will order those parts ahead of time. like I said, I never took the trans apart before, and I can't help but think the trans in my car is like the...

RE: Anyone own a Warhead

86atrack4,

no I haven't taken the trans apart yet. To be honest, I was hoping to never to, it is a pain in the neck to get out. I haven't needed to - until now. Can you help clarify something...

RE: Anyone own a Warhead

I know this is a stupid question, but if the engine revs, the flywheel is turning, but the car doesn't move or all of a sudden "catches" but then loses it again, it means stipped gears, right? The...

RE: Anyone own a Warhead

this does make sense. The WH has connectors for "medium" or "standard" fuel lines, but a smaller line will produce less gas and a larger line will allow larger quantities of fuel to pass. Never...

RE: Anyone own a Warhead

71goat,

try these: Great Planes Fuel Line Clamp Medium 3/32" (4) - They're $1.19 for 4 of them.

of course, then you should change your fuel line: Ofna Fuel Line Tubing Blue 3' $1.85 for 3'...

RE: Anyone own a Warhead

For those of you that already have the Axial .28, the HS needle is really close to the spur gear. Some carbs can be unassembled. Can the Axial carb be unassembled? if so, can the needle be tilted...

RE: Anyone own a Warhead

This makes PERFECT sense. I never thought of it this way. I have also heard with DT's "stress-tech" warranty, the local LHS don't want to stock too many parts. They think: why bother if DT will...

RE: Anyone own a Warhead

I hope so. You seem to be in the minority compared to Revo, 8ight, LST/LST2s, etc - even the Hellfire has been winning. When you go to these races, do others have WHs or do others get excited and...

RE: Anyone own a Warhead

Warhead1,

Hey, just out of curiosity, what are any of your local hobby shops saying about the WH EVO? I don't have any local ones, so I use Tower a lot, but I wonder what the guys who work in the shops say. ...

RE: Anyone own a Warhead

If he gets the aluminum bulkheads and servo saver, he can survive for a while. Everything else can be replaced as they break. Otherwise, ditch the engine -- the ST stinks. If you like...

I wrote the above to share my experiences and to let all of you who are frustrated with the ST to know, it can be done, it just takes a LOT of tinkering. Don't give up and you can do it. Of course,...
