I don't know if it's more robust. It's just very different. (I think the DF-300 GP uses the same brace as our Df-300 EPs.)

Blizzard came with mostly bushings to save cost + prevent rust. Switching from GP to EP will cost you at least another 50 in parts excluding the electronics. However the GP did come with better...

4000mah pack. No issues except the wire is a bit tight (10AWG.)

Just get the taller packs instead of the long 3s packs. Most of the 3s lipo that can go into a traxxas VXL will fit.

Looks like a case of over stress battery. If we assume the lipo is 20c rate then 2.2Ahx20c = 44amps continous max on that lipo. I can't imagine a 5700kv on 3s would be under the 45amp limit.

Did you adjust the track tension? That's usually when it is too saggy. You can also add a oil filled shock to the idler setup to adjust the tension as a DIY project.

No need to mess around with 21 or 23t. I'm running a 4600kv with 27t and it's still has tons of torque. :D Internal ratio is 5.633. Stock gearing is 25.5 :1.

Nice video LB. Blizzard works flawless in the cold. How did your 3pks like hte cold? My LCD was real slow at changing screens after 15-20min out in the cold.

Just buy it from walastore on eBay. He have everything from abec1 to ceramics at reasonable prices. You can pick metal shield or rubber versions.

It's just very inconsistent without it. Not a smooth pivot. I think the brakes were fading with the mamba.

Those oucastrc pads should be good for silver can. Those $5 pads I bought makes it possible to do pivot turns with the 4600kv motor.

Kyosho 777/MP09 brake liners are direct bolt ons. No need to drill anything. Cheap too.

Are you ordering the nitro or the electric version? Nitro is in stock but the electric will have be ordered in. About 2-3 weeks wait for the distributer to get it.
