vintage traxxas hawk custom electric conversion

this abomination started its life as a nitro hawk chassis with a bent up rear
with some parts from my bins and some 3d printed parts I finished it up as a rustler/hawk combo
and im pretty happy...

out of my 37 cars only a slim few were even made after 1993(and most of thoes are mini's)

id like to keep a crawler with my vintage style in mind bit like i said im not going to spend over...

thats the biggest problem a low budget car is junk no matter what you go for

traxxas,redcat,ecx,exceede,aarma(or what ever the hell it is)

all have to be totaly rebuilt to become...

the 2 peice allow chassis that is tubed gives it great strength

all the new stuff is either plastic or flat alloy with some sort of brace


in a head on crash the worst i have ever had...

i agree used on a budget can end up throwing that budget out the door
if it needs tires add 20-40$
all the parts will be weakend from use so it will probaly break on the first run

depending on what verson of the gt you got you should be fine

im running a os.18 with no problems

the only down side to the .18 is you might need a whellie bar if you dont use large...
