RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

I have begun repairs on my old broken fuse. I have some re-fab to do on the wing doublers and the wing mounting plate has some minor issues, but I think all in all, it will be an easy rebuild. I...

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

I used the same spacers that came with my PNP when I upgraded. I believe others on this thread did as well. I also used the PNP mounting plate with my 480 even though it is thinner and poorer...

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

I currently have an old fuse that I repaired with the exception of the wing mounting bolt plate. The plate in my recently demised MP is in perfect shape so I may just finish the repair job, buy a...

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

Thanks Woodbender,

I love my mini pulse, and if I can't find a plane to build, I may just get another. Such a great plane. It had been very durable, but full throttle into the gravel doesn't...

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

Another one bites the dust!!!!!!

I was attempting to flat spin my MP today and a gust pushed it over and I over-corrected without sufficient altitude and CRUNCH> Aouwch! That hurt. Totaled...

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

Hey all, I finally put the landing gear back on the MP after a run of belly landings. I was missing ROGs and I reinforced the landing gear area and replaced my worn out landing gear axles/screws. ...

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

What you're saying makes perfect sense, I will check all the wires. I barely went over them on the site, but not very intently. Thank you for your advice.

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

I have a JR600 sport radio and a berg 7ch receiver, two HS-55's on ailerons and two HS-56's on the tail. I have never had any radio issues with this set-up, but there is a first time for everything....

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

Had a radio issue today. I was flying because the wind finally was not blowing, although it was cold. All was well until I lost radio contact. Luckily, the plane had some elevator and slight yaw...

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

rascusn3,

Nice pics. The MP looks so great in the air. I keep thinking maybe I'll get another sport plane, but I don't know why unless I get a bigger one. The MP can do everything I want to...

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

I am using a 2200 zippy and I am very happy with it especially considering the price. Way better than my eflite packs.

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

I took my MP up yesterday in some windy conditions. The wind seemed to be coming in steady from the south west, but after I was up the wind started getting erratic. Made for some interesting...

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

Just got the park 480 to put in my MP. I have finally gotten tired of the PNP 450 giving me issues due to poor quality. Are there many issues in installation with this motor. I assume I will have...

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

So I ripped the landng gear out of the bottom of my fuse. Totally my fault. I had the area reinforced, but plane met a curb on takeoff and took them out. It was actually kind of funny. So I hand...

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

I got a new Thunderbird 35 ESC to use on my mini pulse. Right now I have the stock 450 PNP motor. Do I need to run an external BEC? or is the 3amp linear BEC on the ESC sufficient. I am running...

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

Thanks a bunch for the info. I will look into those ESCs. Right now, all of my planes are 3 cell lipos and I am quite happy with that performance level. I imagine I am going to always have some...

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

I am thinking of replacing the stock ESC with a Thunderbird 54 from castle. This will allow me to upgrade motors in the future. Has anyone used these? The other stuff I have from Castle Creations...

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

I have the stock PNP 23 amp eflite esc and I am using a berg 6ch full range receiver. It has done this with two different servos, so I would lean towards the ESC being bad. I guess I should just...

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

Ok, I am having difficulties and I am not sure the cause. Pre-flight checks are all OK. Range test OK, etc. After a few minutes of flight, I am losing control of my elevator. This has caused...

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

That is cool! Let us know how it turns out please. I am very curious. I am surprised you had issues with the MP CG. I have found it forgiving, but every bird is different. Good luck with the MUP!

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

Pheonix,

I had the APC 11X7 prop after I finally crashed and broke the eflite prop. I didn't notice any difference, but I liked it just as much as the stock prop. I do like that the APC prop...

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

Please check your elevator joiner to make sure it is secure on both sides. Elevator failures are no fun at all. I was lucky and mine actually broke on the way to the field my first time out after a...

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

I replaced the eflite servo with my extra hitec 56 servo. Wow what a difference in servos! Went out to try flying and range tests. All was well until the prop stopped turning. Dead sticked the MP...

RE: E-Flite Mini Pulse XT Owner's Club

Had my first crash a while back. Got everything back together and recovered in a fankenstein sort of way. Took the MP out tonight for its first post crash flight. All looked great. Flew great. ...
