To be fair to the engineer, you only install the engine a couple of times at the most. Looking at the mount I don't see an alternative location. Also, I run a mount on my R/C delta without any...

Well...I didn't like the short run the Norvel tank/mount provided so I added a 1oz tank. Muffler pressure tap to 1oz vent - 1oz tank fuel feed to tank/mount vent - left the tank/mount fuel feed...
