I've tried this with the linkage and servo arm disconnected so the servo is basically stand alone. When I power it up, the servo turns clockwise to its limit and locks. At this point it doesn't allow...

Got me on that one, I've never actually made a maiden flight on a plane. These were all her dads and had many flights on them before I ever got behind the controls.

I don't believe that my radio is programmable. It uses crystals for the radio frequency, although if I use the same receiver will that work?
