I use a 14x4W APC on my 75AX and Hangar 9 Twist 60. Hovers well and pulls out with authority.

Sold my old funjet with the medusa and bought a new one. I was thinking of 4s 2200 40C and a HET 2W-20. Esc a Turnigy 60A and prop APC 4.1x4.1.

My Medusa V2 threw a magnet. This is the second Medusa I have going bad after throwing a magnet. So guess what. I'm open to recommendations as what to get now.

Thanks. I'll leave it for last then. It's just that I usually prefer to get the drilling and fiddling done before I mount the wings and feathers.

Joe and Snobelt thanks. I was aware of the MPX combo but I already have an ESC and folding prop. So I guess around a 300-350 watt motor would be ok.

Just building mine with Medusa V2.
Got APC 5.5x4.5 and also Graupner cam prop 5.5x4.3
Going 4S an think the APC is the best bet after I read all around here.
Esc is 40A.
