RE: OV-10 Bronco 81

I know some of us were getting ready to form some molds for canopies. I happened to catch Rich at Monster Planes this past weekend and he has all the plastic parts back in stock. You can give him...

RE: OV-10 Bronco 81

I feel like from the time I first contacted you until this point there has been an issue of integrity. When I contacted Hobby Hanger last year about the short kit and contacted you about the...

RE: OV-10 Bronco 81

I'd be happy to pay for a canopy at the $50 level. I've got an open air OV-10 ready to fly, I need a canopy BAD. Plus, I'm really irritated at those Hobby Hanger guys. When I ordered my kit they...

RE: OV-10 Bronco 81

I'm not getting replies on my emails either. Doesn't look good for the future of the OV-10 when the trial goes cold to the supplier of plastics. You can get the plastic pieces in fiberglass at...

RE: OV-10 Bronco 81

Any of you heard from Rich on plastics yet? I've got my booms and fuse done and I really need a canopy. Not to anxious to start on the wing if I'm never going to see a canopy.

RE: OV-10 Bronco 81

Hey Wayne, I thought about that but I use the JR failsafe receivers which are $150 each. Figure I'd just throw more extensions at the problem instead of spending the money on multiple receivers and...

RE: OV-10 Bronco 81

People don't realize how bad altitude sickness can affect a person. Every year we have folks coming to the mountains from sea level attempting to climb Longs Peak and die due to altitude sickness. ...

RE: OV-10 Bronco 81

Its a AMR Twin Stick with DLE55's on it with Beila Props. The kit is made for 30's but since I fly at 6K feet I need extra power. This Bronco was suppose to be something simple for me to use up...

RE: OV-10 Bronco 81

Ask Rich about the canopy availability when you talk to him Bad Lemon. Just finished my twin trainer then I'm getting back to the OV-10.

RE: OV-10 Bronco 81

Maybe I'm missing the tree in the forest but I'm not seeing anywhere on this wing plan where it states the spar as being balsa or spruce. I'm guessing balsa is fine but thought I'd ask you guys...

RE: OV-10 Bronco 81

I don't have a incident meter but was wondering about using my digital level. If the main fuse is sitting on the table and the table is level then the horizontal stab should be set to level also? ...

RE: OV-10 Bronco 81

Funny how the simply things go right past you when you build and then come back to cause you hours of extra work later. I never seem to learn those lessons. After I get this wing built I'll have to...

RE: OV-10 Bronco 81

Ok, I'm following you. I guess the down side to that kind of solution is the tube is glued in the outer wing making the wing harder to store in a limited space. But, I do understand what you are...

RE: OV-10 Bronco 81

Gains, curious how you fasten your three piece wing. I'm getting ready to build the wing and plan on a three piece but not exactly sure how I'm going to secure the outside wings to the pods. Jerry.

RE: OV-10 Bronco 81

My Sierra gear I mounted at 15 degrees and slid it back just aft of the former so the wheel does not interfere with the nose cone. I don't think with the Sierra gear I can get the nose wheel tucked...

RE: OV-10 Bronco 81

The problem with Gains is that he is too darn neat! I can't look at his pictures and then go down into my shop and look at my work. It makes me ill.

RE: OV-10 Bronco 81

Ya I know its going to be tight. Haven't built a warbird in a long time and I forgot just how much trouble warbirds can be. Retracts, etc. are just a pain in the neck. Had a bunch of balsa that...
