RE: Hangar 9 B-25 ARF: Building and Modifications

The seven minute flights really don't leave you three additional minutes. I fly at 5400' so I'm flying at 3/4 or more throttle most of the time. Your times will be longer due tot he fact that you...

RE: Hangar 9 B-25 ARF: Building and Modifications

After a couple months of flying I too had to reglue the formers in the nacelles. I think that hot glue they use is not the best adhesive for the ply to fiberglass joint and couple that with the...

RE: Hangar 9 B-25 ARF: Building and Modifications

Due to altitude we always max out on power. I didn't try the 4s. It flies very nice on the 5s, about 2/3 power to fly scale like. Has plenty of power to take right off and I'm nto too worried...

RE: Hangar 9 B-25 ARF: Building and Modifications

Hey Bassman,
My ESC's are tied to the motor mounts in the nacelles with long leads to the batteries in the fuse. I ran a long lead from each motor through the wing and out the hole in the middle...

RE: Hangar 9 B-25 ARF: Building and Modifications

Woodstock, I have the Eflite 46's with 5 cell and tested 12x6 three blade and got roughly the same amp draw as the 13x6 two blade but the watts were less on the three blade. You will not be able to...

RE: Hangar 9 B-25 ARF: Building and Modifications

Howard, how long are your flight times with your electric B25. Snow is preventing me from flying mine. I have 5 cell 4000 batteries, one located in the nose after I found out how much ballast would...

RE: Hangar 9 B-25 ARF: Building and Modifications

Thanks for all the updates. Parallel batt setup makes sense. I'm still waiting on my battery combo's from Common Sense. Have the wings all done with the motors/esc installed. Seems to be going...

RE: Hangar 9 B-25 ARF: Building and Modifications

Thanks guys. I went to one our electron experts in the club and ran a bunch of numbers. I'm using the Eflite 46's with a 5 cell. I'm going to go with 13/7 two blade to start and then try the 12/6...

RE: Hangar 9 B-25 ARF: Building and Modifications

Any of the electric guys tried three bladed props yet. I'm running the recommended setup for electric and want to use three blade if possible. Thanks, Jerry.

RE: Hangar 9 B-25 ARF: Building and Modifications

Hey Doug, I plan on using electric on mine. I was looking at the Skyshark 50 combo with the 60 amp esc and 5 cell 5k battery. Which Torque motor did you test? Skyshark suggested to me that a 13x8...

RE: Hangar 9 B-25 ARF: Building and Modifications

I too picked up on these bombers this week. I'm thinking about the electric conversion. Do any of you have any history with SkyShark electric combo's. They have their 50 size combo which is...
