RE: Page Aviation Kits

I'm not sure, but I imagine quite well since Adrian built one with the .56 and posted some thoughts on it on his page.

RE: Why no love for the Pitts S1????

Ya, I hoped to get some good info on it in this thread before I bought one, but doesn't seem to be much experience with them and I hesitated and missed the sale.. oh well.

RE: Why no love for the Pitts S1????

Anyone know of a good choice for a gas engine that they could recommend then? The DLE appears to be lighter then most of the other offerings in the 20-26cc range....

RE: 1/2a quickie, rebirthed at last

I've got no idea how much throw is called for. As far as I know this was scratch built by that gentleman off sketches he made. There isn't a lot of aileron deflection as is, maybe 1/8" or so..

1/2a quickie, rebirthed at last

I picked this little gem up at the Perry, GA swap meet a few years ago from someone who was on the forum here. Not sure who it was anymore, also picked up a laser cut DNU kit from that same table.

It seems these 7202's are getting harder and harder to find.

My wife knew I have been looking for one at a good price and while she was out of town this past weekend she picked me one up. Hobby...

RE: fm or 2.4 GHz

I'm a JR man myself, and being a college student I don't really have the funds to convert my planes to 2.4ghz.

I have a 9303 with a synth module I use (I fly on 3 different main frequencies, 15,...

RE: Peppermint Pattie

I'd love to have a 40 or smaller version of this plane. My space is limited so I have been doing my best to not buy anything over a 40, but this is such a pretty plane.

RE: Debolt Interceptor Jr.

Hmm.. thats good to know.

I like the looks of the Jr. It looks like a nice small fast plane. Would you suggest a specific one of the other larger ones to build?

Debolt Interceptor Jr.

I ran across a site selling the plans for this plane and got intrigued. I found the archived article on AMA, but it doesn't list a plan number.

Has anyone built this plane and can report on its...

RE: Page Aviation out of business?

Very true. I talked with him a few months ago and even then I didn't think he would be able to turn it around. I think his interests have also started to drift elsewhere.

On a better note, I did...

RE: 200MPH Super Bandit(pic)

the Pilot was moving <--- that way when the image was taken. Since he is out of focus, it blurs him in his movement instead of gettign the crispness like we see on the plane.

RE: Mini Funtana Crash Rebuild and Conversion to Gas

Ya. I bought some of the smaller threaded couplers from dubro, that usually take like.. a .7" rod soldered in. I bought some CF that is just large enough to slide in there. It is a tight fit, but it...

RE: Mini Funtana Crash Rebuild and Conversion to Gas

I did a quick search, didn't come up with much. Most of the threads were about 33% and larger planes, and the pushrod design for those is a different from what is needed on the smaller planes.
