It is usually the sensor is taken out by a bad spark plug cap

AFAIK

The beam mount Syssa 30 is special order.

If you look at the sides of the crankcase you can see the bosses where they were as the beams are apparently part of the manufacturing process...

The WT-813-1 from other sources than Syssa typically has a primer bulb assembly mounted on the metering valve side of the carb.

40:1 is fine but the Stihl Ultra is usually packaged to make 50:1 convenient

The new people seem to want the engine to run smooth at mid range and keep tweaking the needles until they get a lean flame out and resulting dead stick.

I like to tune the High Speed needle a...

The Syssa 30 is more of an rpm engine with a smaller prop whereas engines like the DLE 30 have a lot of torque and use a big prop.

I would consider putting a new pump diaphragm in the carburetor. It uses the WAT style kit.

One of the check valve flaps in the carb pump is curled. when it gets wet with gasoline it seats perfectly.
