There were "updated" F-18 kits shipped with the stock front bulkhead setup for twin fans. The bulkheads looked just like the one that failed in Dave's plane and there were no twin fan templates in...

Shaun, I don't think that the forward bulkhead that failed in Dave's airframe, was cut down at all. It looks just like the forward bulkheads that I saw in 2 very early versions of the "updated kit"....
