RE: RB Motor like V-Spec?

The RB C6 is one of the finest race engines made today. It CAN be too much for many club drivers -) Like any engine, the lifespan of the parts depends on how the user treats and tunes the engine....

RE: Make your engine last forever! almost.

You should change your conrod after break in. Clean the engine after every day of running, and if possible, check to see if the conrod can fall of the crank pin with a slight tap. If it can, the...

RE: ACE is water proof!!!

Most likely water resistant like most high dollar servos, but not water proof. The output shaft is most likely where water will enter. If running in conditions like that, usually its best to put very...

RE: What do you guys think of this Airtronics Radio?

I believe DSP is display. If I am correct, when the radio is off, slide the switch up and JUST the display will turn on, so that you can adjust settings without broadcasting a signal. You can assign...

RE: New Starter Box and new company!

I have the TM X5 Turbo II, pretty much the same as that, only difference is the coloring, and damn its good. I just used it to break in my RB C6BB...no troubles at all. Its also quite light. No...

RE: Should I wait it out just a little longer?

The failsafe is awesome as far as kicking in..but as far as setting it up with analog servos it BLOWS. If using analog servos, you must set the failsafe up every time you turn on the RX. If you...

RE: R&B WS7||| & Ninja BO1A

At the minimum, change the conrod after break-in and at about 3-4 gallons, but also check the crank pin size...

RE: R&B WS7||| & Ninja BO1A

Rody actually designs the engines dude....Yes it may be running fine, but probably has odd internal vibrations, and the bushing on the conrod is probably out of true now...

RE: R&B WS7||| & Ninja BO1A

You dont need 3 in onroad, but it can help IF you know how to use the mid speed needle correctly to set up the powerband for your track. However, most people have a hard enough time with a 2 needle...

RE: What do you guys think of this Airtronics Radio?

A software upgrade would not have fixed your issue of losing connection. That is a limitation of AM and FM.

RE: R&B WS7||| & Ninja BO1A

It really just depends. More engines come with 2 needle (High speed, low speed, and idle) rather than 3 needle (high speed, mid speed, low speed) The 2 needle is easiest to tune, but the 3 needle can...

RE: futaba 3pk and 3pks

RE: looking for a recommendation

Agreed, buy a 2.4Ghz radio. Look into the MX-3 FHSS, the Nomadio React, or a Spektrum DX 2.0 or 3.0. All are great radios, but buy it based on how comfortable it is and what features you need/want.

RE: What do you guys think of this Airtronics Radio?

You misunderstood, AND I wasn't very clear. I meant to say that other brands also have failsafe built into their systems. It is not exclusively Nomadio, nor were they the first to come out with it....

RE: What do you guys think of this Airtronics Radio?

1-I do not like the company because of the BS they have been feeding arrogant RCers. If you dont know the tech, how can you tell if its a lie, pushed numbers or just muddying the waters? I wont get ...

RE: What do you guys think of this Airtronics Radio?

How is there "Nothing close"? The only "extra" things are USB mode (Ill never use that) and built in telemetry that you still have to buy, and that it needs upgrades. Ive never owned a radio that...

RE: R&B WS7||| & Ninja BO1A

I agree with it except for the pipe. With a high end engine, use a matched pipe. Try the 2045 out.

RE: R&B WS7||| & Ninja BO1A

And you are assuming he is decent at tuning, clutch setup and gearing! Many people have opinions, less have real knowledge and experience. There are VERY many variables to consider.

RE: Futaba 3PM 2.4 Ghz FASST..Failsafe?

The failsafe is built in, but you have to set it every time you lose power to the RX. If you dont, the failsafe is "last given command" which could be full throttle. If you use all digital servos,...

RE: What do you guys think of this Airtronics Radio?

That is a VERY excellent radio. For the price there is nothing better (some will say the React, but that feels like a cheap wallmart toy)

RE: R&B WS7||| & Ninja BO1A

Actually no, the WS7III has quite enough low end, but it really screams on the top end. Ninja still has decent-great top end. The C6BB is actually just a tad less revs than the WS7III, but it gets to...
