RE: Hitec Spectra 2.4 module upgrade

When moving the stick left or right (aileron) on my 9C with the 2.4 module & Opitma 9 receivers I'm getting a slight rudder twitch.
Happens with all three planes with Opitma 9 receivers when the...

RE: Hitec Spectra 2.4 module upgrade

Good news, I've got an easy fix.
Actually the latching clip where it's supposed to snap in is a little bit higher up. I took a small flat file & filed it down enough so now it snaps in.
Now I'm...

RE: Hitec Spectra 2.4 module upgrade

I got my module yesterday for my 9C.
Two issues:
1-It goes in upside down
2-It does not snap in like the regular module. I fits fairly tight but still it does snap in like it should.
What...

RE: Carden 35% Extra 300 Mid Wing

Two questions:
-How about just raising the wings on the 300 to "midwing"...woudn't that work?

-What's the difference between the 300 & 260 wings?

RE: New H9 35% plane!

$800-$1000 is the standard price for a 100cc 35% ARF.
The other H9 planes were smaller 33% planes thus the lower price & don't forget that the price of a Carden 35% KIT is one grand.

RE: Loose wing tubes - ideas to fix?

Tape will eventually wear & you'll be left with a sticky & gooey mess.
Been there done that.
I agree that spray paint is the best way to go.

RE: New H9 35% plane!

It looks like the H9 is a clone of Mike McConville's Carden 40% 260 Extra that was built by Brian Hueffmeier in 2005.
If it flies as good as a Carden those Chinese won't be able to make em' fast...

RE: carden 35% 260 liftoff

Lookin' great Bob.

I'm also deliberating on the one or two piece for my 260.
Since you have the motor mounted was there any issue slipping the cowl off & on over the DA?

Thanks , Ed

RE: 40% 260 on a Diet

Ah I see, thanks.
Hey 260 Man, don't pay any attention to Tbob.
He must have gotten a lump of coal in his stocking or he's not "been getting any" lately.

Or both.

RE: 40% 260 on a Diet

Does that mean the wings, stab, fin/rudder will be "built up" & the fuse sides will be "open bay"?

How about the bottom & turtle deck?

RE: 40% 260 on a Diet

Interesting indeed.

Are you planning on using the sheeting that came with the plane & are you going to use a CF wing tube, stab tube & landing gear?

...and good luck.

RE: ZDZ 80 ON A 28% WILDHARE 300LX TOO BIG???????

I've got a ZDZ 60 in a 31% 18 lb. Edge & it's got more than enough power.
It runs as good as my ZDZ 80's, Brison & DA's.

The 80 would be WAY too much power.
