RE: Futaba Faast RX Hobby King?

I have an Orange 8 ch receiver in a 50cc Yak and it works fine. There are 5 digital servos connected directly to the receiver. I use Life batteries and no BEC. Like to keep it simple.

RE: Futaba 8FG Super

I also felt it was time for a Futaba again. Earlier I did not like the look of it. But the more I use it the more I like it. The only thing I dislike is the way Gyros are set. Much more complicated...

RE: 8FG Update 4.1 Question

The older type of NiMh batteries discharged themself in a way that could be very irritating. But it is not so anymore. I don´t know if Futaba uses the old or the new type. I have a brand new 8FG so I...

RE: zdz 40 RV carb

It can be a serious problem but have you tried this. Take the spark plug away. Now you can use a glow engine starter to turn it around. Most of the time  this solves the problem with dry carbs.

RE: Range differences for different spectrum receivers

But I am not talking about the quick connect function because it work very well on my receivers. I have tested it by simulating low voltage and it works as it is supposed to do. I was talking about...

RE: Range differences for different spectrum receivers

Maybe it is not so easy to understand but it is not the range under good conditions that is the problem it is that the smaller receivers are slow to relink. Spektrum are reluctant to tell you that...

RE: DA-50 Opportunity KNOCKS ?

And only at mid-throttle. Not at idle and not at full. At full-throttle noise from the propeller takes over. I have a canister on mine. I had the same noise from a ZDZ40 that I run several years ago....

RE: DA-50 Opportunity KNOCKS ?

I have a DL50 with this noise. It runs very well but the noise is irriating.  Sometimes I have the feeling that it is weather dependant. It would be nice to know what was replaced in the DA.

RE: DL-50 engine

I have had my DL50 for 2 years now and it has been virtually problem free. I have always stopped it by closing the throttle. However this does not work any longer. I think it is the caburator that is...

RE: DL-55 Starting problems

Intersting to see the design. Is the connection between the cap and the shield not better than that? It scars me a bit.

RE: Saab J-21

Hi Michael
Glad you like the J21. It is quite a different plane well worth modelling.

The engine is an YS120SF in it. One good thing with this engine is that the tank can be placed far away...
