I use BVM rams and off set door hinges. I mounted the ram's on angle brackets because it was to hard to tighten when in the hole. Dan

I glassed mine and still cracked them in the LG pocket. I had not flown it in 6 months and forgot to keep power on all the way to the runway. I recomend glassing the flap spar with some thing heavy...

Marlon If I had to do it again I would not put brakes on mine. I used airco and they get oiled from the exhaust and slip. I would save the weight. Dan

I used BVM off set hinges on the cargo door I see no reason why they would not work on the other doors. You might want to use 3. Good luck Dan

Walt I picked up some APC 13/7's will give them a try. I cannot beleave that the 55's will pull 12/7 3 blades. Sounds good. My wing cracked on the 4th landing. I replaced the wings and glassed them...

Mark that area is strong enough. I left the stringer on the door. I did remove the stringer in the area for the offset hings. I cut the straight sides with a zone saw useing a steel straight edge...
