RE: *Airtronics RD8000 2.4 GHz*

Actually, there have been only a couple of problems reported with Ailerons on the RDS8000, the big Poo-Poo problem was on the 9303 2.4, and JR actually offered a DIY fix, or you could send it in. It...

RE: *Airtronics RD8000 2.4 GHz*

Can you store airplanes, and helis in the radio, and switch from one to the other, as they were all the same model type?
Ie: can I change between a heli and plane by just changing models?

RE: *Airtronics RD8000 2.4 GHz*

Servo slow will not work on a retract servo. Normal retracts servos are not proportional, however, Airtronics did, or does, make a proportional retract servo.

RE: *Airtronics RD8000 2.4 GHz*

That's a big plus for me. I always remove the back and place a piece of fuel tubing over the detent, so it has tension, but no click.
I always thought the ratchet was best, until I tried it without.

So what will come first, 2.4 modules to fit a Stylus, or the new 10 channel system?

RE: *Airtronics RD8000 2.4 GHz*

Mike,
Have you ever considered setting up aa Airtronics Direct Support Forum on RCU, like Futaba, JR and Hitec have done?
I think a lot of Airtronics owners would like to see one.

RE: *Airtronics RD8000 2.4 GHz*

Why do you need dual rate on a rudder? Aileron and elevator yes. Rudder, not needed. Rudder throw is always"all you can get".

RE: *Airtronics RD8000 2.4 GHz*

Mike,
What platform will Airtronics use for 2.4 Ghz. Are they using something similar to Spektrum's platform, or Futaba's, or XTR's, or something entirely different still?
