RE: Setup Tips for your MCPX

Guys,
The book says to set the TRAVEL ADJUST for PITCH at 75%. On the DX6i radio, is that value set with the stick pulled down (down arrow showing on the screen) or with the stick pushed up...

RE: Global Skyraider Repair

TEBerg,
Thanks for the build posting for your AD-1. I've got one of these flying now, and have another kit in the box. The one flying was bought RTF from another guy... it flies and lands very...

RE: Super Pacer Build Thread - Sorta

Photo of my Super Pacer, landing at my first SPA event. The caption isn't quite correct - I wasn't the winner. The guy who took the photo, and photo-shopped it, got the information wrong.

Ok Guys,
Wing is framed, pretty much complete, less final sanding. I still need to install the wingtips.
Fuse is pretty much done too. Note the two holes in the right side, those are for...

RE: Still choosing the next plane!

U gotta be kidding.... [sm=72_72.gif]

UCD doesn't hold a candle to a Mojo 40, Primo 40, or Chinn Yakk. A Sledge will beat the pants off a UCD, and it's considered "old skool".

I LOVE my...

Wing is done. Except for final sanding and final fit to fuselage. I'll get the fuse back out and start working on that. It's been rather warm here the past few days, and I got a lot of building...

RE: Zig Zag Racer vs. Reef Racer, Which one?

I don't see myself upgrading anything except maybe the battery. These will be for my kids to play around with in the pool. I might grab the transmitter a time or three, but mostly for the kids to...

RE: Zig Zag Racer vs. Reef Racer, Which one?

Thanks. Anybody else have Pros or Cons on the Reef Racer or Zig Zag? The magazine articles are far to "this thing is great", and don't tell the whole truth.

RE: Ace Super Pacer - I'm building, any tips?

My guess is the dorsal spine dramatically aids the knife edge. It makes up a good 20% of the side area of the tail.

Zig Zag Racer vs. Reef Racer, Which one?

Looking to buy some boats for my kids to use in the pool.

What are your thoughts.... Zig Zag Racer or Reef Racer?

I like the Reef Racer 'cause it has the water cooled motor. I don't...

RE: Post your airboat pictures here!!!

Yeah... I'm thinking it's over powered. I've got a .15 I could put on it, but I don't know how much fun that would be. After driving it at only about five clicks above idle and seeing it scoot.......

RE: Ace Super Pacer - I'm building, any tips?

Nice plans/kit parts. Note that in the original kit, the horizontal stab and elevators are made from 1/4" stock. The vertical fin and rudder, and dorsal spine are 3/16" thick. The original kit may...

Super Pacer Build Thread - Sorta

Ok Guys,
It's not my intention to provide a step by step photo-build thread. It's a little bit too late for that. I've got the plane about a third finished already. It's too cold in the garage...

Hey Guys,
I don't spend a whole lot of time on RC Universe, but check in every once in a while. I'm building an old (at least to me) Ace Super Pacer kit. I picked up two of these kits about 12...
