No, you balance it right side up.
I could not get the Great Planes CG machine to reach between the wings so I just did it with my finger tips.
As you know there are several lengthy Hog Bipe build...

straight from the manual

The balance points or centers of gravity (CG), measured from the leading edge of the top wing, are:
25%; 3 5/8" Good place to start if this is your first biplane
...
