i thought most larger engines where at 34-35k rpm

but i searched and saw that its more like 38k and the one .21 i looked at was 40k. not much of a difference as...

.32 has alot of torque but a low rpm.

.21 has good torque but a high rpm.

so basically the top speed is higher with a .21 that has the same gearing as a .32 because it has a higher rev...

ive got 2 2.5s and a 2.5r. id say im about 1 1/2 gallons into both 2.5s without any problems. i also have an rc10 with the stock .15 and it has no power. not to mean that the stock .15 doesnt run...

the only problem with a ct4 set up is the belts, wich can get small rocks and other things stuck in them off road. for an on road setup for an off road application id look at the ntc3 or other shaft...

i say yes! and yes! again!. like everyone else has pointed out, it will take$$$$. you would have to end up drilling new mounting holes for everything in the chassis and whatever parts you choose for...

if you go to the cen website, they have a little chart.

ct5=73.4
fusion .21=66.1
4-tec=61.7(2.5 i assume)
tc3=47.4
ld3=45.3

those are their numbers anyways.

i have a .21 in my truck and have not blown my tranny yet. the only reason i have not put in the .28 is cause i want it modded before install and dont have the money yet.
