yes I have since put a alliminum heat plate between pipe and hull.This has reduced the damage to hull.

The original prop dous not come off the shaft.I got an octura x440 prop with 3/16th stepped shaft stub.A world of differance for the vee. Also look into a tuned pipe for your vee, Isugest the macs...

I think its because i have a octura x440 prop with the shaft stub. I cut 1/4inch off the shaft so the wing nut would fit shug against the prop.But my outdrive is a little sloppy. Igot the angle all...

Yes the idle screw holds the throttle barrel in place.There is a little slot on the barrel were the idle screw sits in.If you backed out the idle screw to far your barrel can come out.
