adjust your carb slowly, making a run and checking your plug each time. untill you get to the right plug color

so did i. while running, make a wot pass then bring over to you and shut it off and check the plug right away

just in general, any top brand oil will work.
my plugs all are about the color of a brown paper bag, maybe alittle darker. a sign of being to lean is a light or white colored plug

i use the klotz super techniplate mixed at 25:1, i have been doing this for several years now with good results. the main thing is don't run it to lean
