Had a blast Saturday Morning. The surf was about 2 foot and clean early on then the on-shore breeze picked up and it got sloppy. I tore my Dude in half...again, but my Lisa with the glassed knees...

John ,

I have 2 of the 60 amp Turnigy ESC's they work fine for me. I have filled the ends with bath tub caulk and it seams to keep the water out.

I'm open, Oceanside is cool, so is HB or Seal if you guys want to go North. I'm geographically right in the middle.

I used to have canon F-1 in a custom housing for surf and a nikonos rig for underwater but .....that was a long time ago in a galexy far far away, I also used to have 16mm water rigs too....

I agree it depends on the quality of the radio too. I also have the $20 HK radio and well its ok but...I also use high end Futaba on my planes and Kyosho on my cars.

With all radios you need to have the antenna on the Tx and Rx up as high as possible. Is your antenna on the surfer inside or outside and up above the deck of the board?
