The HPI seems to have not been a success whereas the Tamiya cars have been around for a while and parts etc. are abundant.  Tamiya cars are also more realistic body wise.  I think a lot of people run...

They are all brilliant and beautiful, as soon as I saw these up went in search of a F104 to make my own but I wonder if they can just live life as a shelf queen....

I just built up a TA-05 IFS...

That would be the F201 that you are referring too - the downside of the set-up is that it is 4WD which isn't obviously how things are in F1...

This sounds like a really slack question but can anyone point me in the right direction of a cheap and reasonable ESC?

I figure forward and reverse and down to about 12 turns and it's got to fit...
