I only have experience with the YS pattern engines, but they were great. My buddies flying the YS 2 strokes in helis swear by them, particularly in the .61 and .91 sizes for their power and...

I have 2 YS 91s, an AC and a FZ, one dates back to early 90's and one to late 90's. Also have a FZ140 dates back to 1998 and a YS110 basically new. I consider them the best of any engines I know...

RE: Distance judging

Having been flying a 4*60 since the late 90's, I understand the problem, they are real floaters, particularly with a .90 four stroke with a 13x8 prop. Reflexing the ailerons up about 15 degrees will...

YS FZ140 Crankshaft

Looking for a crankshaft for a YS FZ140 that suffered bending upon the recent loss of my Hydeout. A worn out or parts engine would suffice if you just happen to have one laying around gathering...

RE: 40% Cool Power Fuel

My other concern is the oil mixture. The 30% heli cool power is 23% oil, and works great for me. The 40% is also 23%, but I don't know of any 15% that has that much oil in it. Based on the...

RE: 1/2A Biplanes.*** LIMIT***. .010 to .049? *** MAXX LIMIT .15 ***-

Top Flite School Girl was my favorite with a TD 049 and a 1 ounce tank and regular servos, as I could not afford the Kraft S18 minis. Wings were sheeted with 1/20" balsa and the plans showed rubber...

RE: TF Contender, a beginers view

Hope you have as much fun with your Contender .60 as I have. A really great Dave Platt design from his days at Top Flite a long time ago. Here is a picture of mine. Using an OS 61FSR ABC and...

RE: Bridi Escape vs Bridi Great Escape

I am still flying the attached Bridi Escape with a YS91FZ, and it is a real hoot. Dave Brown retracts from a grass field at Space City RC hold up well and the plane really grooves and is fast. ...

JR R2100 Dual Conversion Receiver

Can anyone tell me if this receiver will work with the JR TX module where you can select any channel. It is scan select, but dual conversion, and I do not know if this has any effect.

JR10DX

Does anyone know if this receiver (JR10DX) will work in the US with a JR 10X transmitter? I believe that it is an overseas model, but says 72MHZ and is scan select. Thanks.
