Nice KTs John, your ambush pattern is much more effective looking then the real thing. They used hard edges that really made them stand out. They had a post about this over at Missing-Lynx recently.

In that week or so of fighting the 503rd did in Normandy they inflicted heavy casualties on the Allies. No less then 80 tanks fell to their guns.

Panzer Lehr operated 2 Tiger Is in 1945 for a short while. Funklenk 316 lost all 5 of those Porshce KTs in mid August '44. According to Trail of the Tigers they were all either abandoned or blown...

Anything is possible, that looks more like SS501 or 506 in the Ardennes.

That's a big time difference for Panzer Lehr. It's more then likely those first Tiger Is were destroyed by the time they...

The 501st on the Eastern Front also received 6 Tiger Is and 6 KTs on the same day in late June '44.

I think googly is right, only the 503rd had both. I will double check my "Trail of the Tigers" by Ron Klages tonight to see if any other units were operating both at once.
