I have a Mackay (Moki) 50 VT fourstroke. It's not the most powerful engine ever made , but it is the easiest starting gas engine that I own and it's definitely the most...

Hi Thomas,
The Stearman will be fine with a DA 50. One of my friends has a ZDZ 50 ng in his and I fly one of mine with a Mackay (Moki) 45 gasser. The other has a Laser 240 V Twin.

Bob,

I would suggest your friend considers something bigger than a Saito 180, especially if you live at altitude.

The Laser designer, Neil Tidey, fly's his Stearman with a Laser 180...
