That works if your trees don't have hands....lol. I have climbed a few to get planes down. Only once for mine....the stryker. I have tried the power out thing with no luck....these tree's hold on...

Might be ok if the esc is not in there with it. BTW this is a mamba motor and esc. It does not work equally with any BL system. I had to post it since water was brought up. I have never broke a...

Remember using a lipo requires buying a charger and balancer or charger with balancing capabilities for best results and life out of your pack. I hear to often that people go out and buy lipo's or...

I had several strip. As a general rule I try to use beefier servos for any surface that makes contact with ground.....like rudders with tailwheels. Elevators also see a ton of vibration from taking...

I usualy do most of my shopping at tower hobbies for building supplies. I used CA hinges. Many types of hinges would work in this app. They have nice hobby knifes and blade assortments at god...

Many of us have put ailerons on the cub. You can do it in under an hour if you have a knife, hinges of your choice, and some glue/tape, and 2 servos. ...

Brushless motor mounts are easy to make from the stock gearbox. There are many pics of it on SCC. There are also many pics of it here in this ridiculously long thread. Good luck finding them here...

Man it's easy. Come in close to ground about 25mph or so......then apply full up stick and right rudder. It will tumble for about 30 feet!

They are tough as nails if you first tape them up with packing tape. If they do crack it is all contained. Been using same set now for over 2 years. The tape also helps it slide better....almost...

Sounds like the thrust angle is off then. Your motor shaft should be facing a bit downward and to the right.

Is it possible that your wing is not inline with the elevator? Maybe it is crooked a bit? Take a string and measure to see if they are both in sync.

By the sounds of it he is using velcro on his struts. More of a for looks thing at that point. Taping the wing does not allow much flex so struts are not needed as much for controlling those...

Another way I have found to strengthen the wing is to add 3M extreme tape to the underside of the wing. From tip to tip with 2 lengths of tape. It will not allow it to flex nearly as much and looks...

soak it in a solution of salt and water for 48 hours then toss in the regular trash. Make sure to use plenty of salt. I use about a cup of it to a 1 gallon jug. Do it now and outside. Do not...

Personally I would get another 7C and get some extra rx's with the left overs. One heck of a solid radio right there....and time tested and proven.

That would be a good idea. The motor wires have bullet connectors. Deans would work well there too. Not 100% nessessary but it would be a worry free spot if there were deans on it.
