RE: Great Planes F-86 Sabre Micro EDF

The "flip over thing" can be normal for a ducted fan. I'd guess we all experienced it many times. Once you stall the plane, there's no prop thrust over the elevators and it just flips around. The...

RE: Extreme Flight Vanquish 2m Build Thread

Wow, that's good to know. Little surprising as I've never bought a thing from EF in my life. I did talk to Curtis on the phone once or twice looking for a spare fuse for a used 48" V1 Vanquish I...

RE: Extreme Flight Vanquish 2m Build Thread

I'd have to respectfully disagree. I've been waiting for an electric pattern plane with this performance and value for several years. I've been flying Imac for years and really have no desire to...

RE: FLITON - AJ Extra 330S

Here's what I'm running although you might want to go to a higher MAH battery as I only got about 6-7 min flight times. Maybe going down on the prop and up to 4S on the battery might help with...

RE: Headers cracking???

As Jake said, the soft mount can be causing a lot of your issues. What I found is that when I originally designed my canister mount I only had a small amount of right thrust in the motor. I ended...

RE: Horizon Hobbies Pain in the....

Clear and simple. Biggest scam's in the credit card business is to ship to a different address. Sorry this happened to you but the company is only protecting itself.

Many thanks to Ed, Joe and Dave for running the F3P event as well as the F3P seminar. It was a great contest and we had a lot of great flights. It's tougher than it looks to fly a precise sequence...

RE: Keystone Indoor Electric Fly and F3P contest

Take offs and landings are judged but it doesn't matter to me. Ed Alt is overseeing the F3P. I'll check with him.

Joe, don't you think the runway would sufice? Should it be larger?

RE: Keystone Indoor Electric Fly and F3P contest

Hey guys, just a reminder, the surface of the dome is a plush astro turf. With this in mind I picked up a 4' x 20' piece of rubber roofing material that will be our runway for the F3P. Make sure...
