Ahh, summer... :) So, an update is in order.

More photos coming soon. Pulled my latest fuselage out of the mold this morning. Lightest one yet. 1lb 3 oz. That's 5 oz lighter than any others that I have made. Only former the fuse will need is...

My firewall is actually nomex honeycomb with glass on both sides, 3/8" of an inch thick. It originated from some floorboard in a 747! I have a friend that works at an airline and gets old...

Well, not much new. Building has slowed because we are just too busy with other things and Chris made the decision not to push it to make the Sacramento race on March 24th. He wants to make it look...

3-11-02 Update.

Not much new today on Chris's Tsunami - nothing that a photo will really show. Made elevator and rudder pushrods, installed a control horn, put the rudder post in, did some...

No finals yet.... That's May! I took three midterms in the course of 4 days last week, so I halted all work. We're gonna go full throttle at it this weekend. I've mounted the stab and filled it in,...

Closed the stabilizer mold up tonight. Snapped two photos. This stab was layed up on top of a wax mold release rather than PVA. Let's see what it looks like tomorrow morning.
