I used the stock tailwheel but shortened the length to the anchor point in the bottom of the rudder and it's worked great, positive steering in high grass.

test ran mine today, DA was right on right out of the box. Got an all up weight as well, 15lbs-3oz. May get to maiden tomorrow depending on weather.

mine will be ready for a run test tomorrow, and if the weather cooperates, maiden on Sunday. I'll post my all up weight as well. DA-50 plane.

well I ordered the DA50 this morning. Chief had them in stock. Now if Columbus weather would just cooperate, I'm sure this is only the beginning though.
