I've got a couple of dozen flights on it now. The weather here in August was unbearable. 100 + everyday and NO rain. Temps finally broke to the low 90's this week. She flies as great as I remember...

Don't freak out. Fix it while you have the chance. You are very lucky to have the opportunity to save your plane and like Mike said the fix should be simple. You will loose your plane if you don't.
