If you pull a loop, and one wing comes out low, that is the sighn to add weight to the other wing.

I do not fly Imac or any other fancy aerobatics. A bit of side weight counteracts the engine torque, so is no problem at all.
If I were to change my flight patterns, I probably would...

The louvres are from a home worker store called Fixet (walmart in USA?) They are sold as ventilation grids. You may have to shop around to find suitable ones. I stock 3W items.

This provides ample cooling air extraction for a DA50 with built in canister silencer. Only one air inlet, just in front of the cylinder is open.

Your design looks great RTK,
I too think, that some louvres at the bottom of the cooler would be very effective, and better still if combined with the original Yak louvres if they can be opened up....

That would be very effective.
Instead of cutting a large hole in the cowl and spoiling the looks, have a look at this most effective air exit system that will create a very low air extracting...

The cutouts should be smaller and fit the cylinders as close as possible.
In a yak, open all the louvres, and/or see to it that you create vacuum slits where the cowl meets the fuselage. Just...
