I guess its time for me to update my progress.
I ended up buying two of the new ROTO 35cc engines from RC Showcase and broke them both in on a GP Christen Eagle last summer.
I had to rebuild both...

Since I started this thread,I have bought a half finished Aeroplane Works kit complete with all the Ziroli extras like the fibreglass cowls etc......Also have a complete set of Robart mains and tail...
