Radio Equipment Question

I am giving one of my planes to a family member. It has futaba receiver and servos. He has a JR transmitter. Will all the radio gear have to be replaced with JR?

i am looking forward to this plane, it is my first sport and i was torn between this and the 4*. From these posts, it seems that digital servos are not necessary. Thanks for the help as usual.

Just got a Pulse 60 ARF. The manual calls for JR digital servos and it seems the cut outs for the servos are smaller than those for a Futaba which I usually use. The question is will JR servos work...

I have an OS 46 AX. When the engine is not used for several weeks, the carb gets stuck. When I move the throttle, I have to grab the arm the clevis is connected to to get it to move. Once it frees up...

with the sim, i am able to practice all i want but as was said earlier, the real thing is much more exciting. With the sim, there is no heart pumping hand shaking excitement.
